I am a public health microbiologist with knowledge of microbiology, biotechnology, and epidemiology. My professional journey includes advisory roles at esteemed organizations, including the United Nations, international NGOs, research institutions, and the Government of Bangladesh. In these capacities, I have provided technical support to enhance in-country laboratory capacity for detecting and analyzing pathogens and antimicrobial resistance. I have mentored laboratory staff, coordinated the procurement of laboratory supplies, and ensured the maintenance of biosafety and biosecurity standards.

A key strength of my technical expertise lies in my substantial experience in coordination and supervision. I have led multiple surveillance programs for avian influenza and antimicrobial resistance, facilitated training for laboratory personnel, and supervised research on various infectious diseases. Additionally, I have been involved in numerous research projects, collaborating with renowned international organizations such as icddr,b, IEDCR, DGHS, USAID, FAO, DLS, APHA UK, and CSIRO Australia, among others. My work has been recognized through several peer-reviewed publications focusing on microbial genomics and public health.

Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to advancing public health through research, capacity building, and collaboration, consistently striving to make a meaningful impact on health systems and disease prevention.

Beyond the professional realm, I love watching movies, reading fiction, cycling, swimming, and passionately cheering for Bangladesh cricket.
